It’s days like this I’m proud to be an American who got the hell out.
Dumb as dirt. More obscene ignorance. Obscene. I mean, obscene. I can’t seem to stop saying obscene…
Women like wearing burkas, says Wesley Clark. I used to think he was smart. Still think he’s pretty, but that’s not enough. Don’t you get the feeling he’s being groomed to be Hillary’s running mate? Another reason not to vote for her.
What Would Jesus Shoot? Allow me to introduce my uncle and his wife.
Oh.
My.
Fucking.
God.
The Youtube video? Priceless. The best part, is watching Jeff try to shut the blond up because she just kept making herself look stupider and stupider. “I thought Europe WAS a country!” LMAO! Beautiful. Thank you. I needed that.
Should I be laughing or crying? Oh, Wesley Clark! That was very-very bad!
This post emboldens my expat longings. Sad and funny.
p.s. I can’t get the “What would Jesus Shoot” to open, it may just be my internet.
Pictured with the ornaments is a Para-Ordinance Warthog .45 ACP. It’s a ‘pretty’ pistol, but not a Glock. I’m pretty sure that if Jesus were to actually need a pistol , he would want to pack a Glock.
Hi Bob. I didn’t think you’d mind shocking the liberals… I didn’t think it was a Glock since Verna called it a hawg, but it worked for my title!
Shouldn’t you need a permit to go with that gun ornament?
“Live by the sword, die by the sword” (Matthew, verse 26:52)
Present day America has lost most of its moral credibility. You sure got out just in time.
[I hijacked your Jesus link Pam. It was too good to pass up ;-) ]
Are those nice-folks-with-a-gun-in-their-Christmas-tree really your uncle and his wife? I got the creeps reading their blog.
Hi Peter. I saw that you did that! I knew I was potentially opening a can of worms with that link. I decided to go ahead with it because I didn’t think my uncle would mind the notoriety. He’s a serious blogger and if he weren’t prepared to confront other opinions and get negative reactions, he wouldn’t put his opinions online (just like me and you).
Yes, he’s my uncle and I love him. He has a personal blog and, on that one, most of his and his wife’s posts and pictures are about their dogs and the extraordinary flowers they grow and some great photography of gorgeous architecture and sunsets and so on in LA and other parts of California.
I am constantly trying to reconcile the fact that he has such sensitivity to beauty, that he’s madly in love, that he can be such a softie and still have the attitudes he has. My assumption is that intolerant, right-wing attitudes are the result of some deep-seated anger or frustration in people, so I am utterly perplexed why he’s that way. He’ smart, funny, financially secure. He just doesn’t seem to have much to be angry about…
Of course, he lives in LA. I lived in LA for a year and had to leave. The hate and anger are palpable there and it really starts to eat away at you. Maybe that’s it…
It is a very creepy blog, though, you’re right. And half of America feels the way he does. That’s what’s really creepy.
