Nobody commented on my last paranoia post. I hesitated to post it because I didn’t want to come across as a nutjob. But I went ahead because I figure you all know me well enough to know I’m not totally insane.
And I’m not. This is the world you live in: “Earlier this year, the Bruin Alumni Association at UCLA offered students $100 to tape left-wing professors.”
I’m not imagining it. Maybe more of you should.
[Addendum: It looks like it is a conservative alumni group that made this offer. They decided to withdraw the payment offer, because UCLA said it was against policy, but they don't have an ethical problem with asking students to report on their lefty profs.]
No, you’re sure not paranoid Pam. I guess the world realizes how far the current US administration will go to achieve its goals.
Raping human rights or the US constitution: whatever it takes, they know nobody is able to stop them.
And that’s the truly sad concept: they cannot be stopped anymore. Please review the article at the project for the Old American century – they convincingly prove that the US is no longer a democracy, but shares at least 14 major points with a facist regime:

Tragic, deeply tragic.
And the US population? They went shopping at their favorite mall and watched American Idol…
[please note: your last link is broken]
We should report the leftists teacher in France as well.
That would be a good experiment to testload the french internet as well.
Seriously Mac Carthy is so what we need in France.
I’d vote for him in a blink, and so would many of my compatriots.
Most of anticommunists french are too busy doing more important things, but someone has got to do the dirty work.
The veneration of Che Guevara by the left shows that even communists agree that a good communist is a dead communist.
Bonjour Nicolas. On “N’ayons pas peur des mots” (iTele) the other day, all four panelists (2 left and 2 right) seemed to agree that Che is most venerated by the Che-tshirt-wearing crowd, who appear to be ignorant about the truth, and that he didn’t deserve his iconic status. On another note, if oppression is what you want, the US would welcome you. In the current cultural and political climate of the US, the ideal citizen is a sheep who prefers to be told what to think and do. But, of course, you’d be spied on and the object of suspicion as an immigrant… I was hungry for real freedom, which is why I came here.
