Looks lovely Pam, and I am as green as the vine leaves with envy. But I am curious – just how far do the trees range each day? My trees are pretty restricted, being bound in by fences and all, as I was afraid of having them wander off and losing them. But a herd of free range oaks on the move, over the hills and far away, must be an awesome (and noisy) sight.
Ahh, but you see, the trees in Paris spend their entire lives in cages, allowed only a tiny square of dirt at their feet and surrounded by concrete, sometimes shackled with cast iron grills on their roots or around their trunks. It’s sad to see sometimes. ;-) I sent you a picture.
But it’s certainly better than nothing. Wiley runs from one to the next, but he doesn’t like the grills.
Passe des très bonnes vacances!!

Hi David.
